Thanks. This might be useful on several older cars we have, one of which I'm hoping to sell soon but it's in a condition where top-quality waxes and detailers would be wasted. It's actually black. Does that make this less or more helpful if I'm looking to get a decent but not great shine?
It's fine as long as the car is washed and paint in decent condition.

If not,
Wash
Clay bar
Optional Polishing compound with rotary (depends on how much swirls and paint damage exists)
Buff
Car wax with rotary
Buff

...

A quick spray and microfiber wipe down of clean or bwaxed cars with Meguars Quick Detailer spray can boost the illusion of shine and gloss easily.

...

But for selling cars. A clean engine compartment, vacuumed under the seats and mats, etc can help.

...

If lazy?
Wash car - skip if not too dirty.

Then the secret?
https://cleantools.net/products/the-glosser
Wipe with the cleaner, lightly buff with microfiber.

Seriously good gloss and shine for a wipe!

This is what I'd do because of the easy nice gloss. I use it on my cars between a full wax.

I use these type of quick detailer products on the front of the vehicles during love bug season in Florida before going on trips. Just spray it on and don't wipe it in. The bugs won't stick to the surface, mostly just rinse off.

Want to first hear from someone who has actually used this product.
It's free. I'll find something to spray it on even if it's a stray cat running around the neighborhood that I want to smell better.

Rain-X products won't get within 20 feet of my vehicles.
They can stick to their shill silicone spray for windshields.

Also, this is using ceramic as a stretch.
I used Rain-X wiper fluid for the first time (not knowing about the silicone or whatever other reactive chemical) and it completely clogged up my windshield washer pumps and nozzles. Costed over $500 in parts and labor to replace everything. Never again with Rain-X products.

Anyways, ProjectFarm on YouTube did a pretty comprehensive comparison of spray-on ceramic coatings and waxes. I'd recommend checking that out.

Is there an alternate product you'd recommend for windshields?

Sorry to hear that. My experience using the Rain-X windshield fluid and/or additives on and off is that I've never had a problem in 25 years.

Never had a chance to use any other of their products, though

How is it shill silicone spray? That stuff is awesome.

I'm wondering the same... Been using that product for nearly 3 decades w/out a single problem.

I doubt rain-x will last anywhere near as long as the above listed. Most people report it has weeks of lifetime. It wasn't part of the test, but you can see there are tons of products that will fail fast.

These all beat the $23 gloss it spray, $70 F11 top coat, $50 Owner price, $42 the Last Coat 2, $40 Nexgen, $40 Carpro reload, $20 Shine Armor and the $13-$15 three turtle wax applications.

That's a quick way to get the rebate rejected. Check rebate requirements
