It is my first posting.

I have been trying to buy this Yakuza game for PS5. Since it was released, I have not seen any sale until this one from Target. Even though I could not find it available in store, and Target does not ship this game, the website does not show OOS.

I spoke to the online chat on BestBuy.com, and the CS person agreed to price match the $39.99 on target.com, and let me pick up at local Best Buy. I would assume they can ship it too.

It is YMMV, but never hurt to ask for price match. It should be the lowest price for the PS5 version.

Thanks for posting, but you just got incredibly lucky. Price match policy requires the competitor to have the item in stock.

The PS4 version is available. There is a free PS4 to PS5 upgrade, so even if you can't get the physical copy of the PS5 version you can still get the upgrade with the PS4 version.

Yeah I figured that. That is why I put YMMV for this deal. I guess since Target does not show OOS for this item, (I have seen games that clearly shows OOS), it is eligible. Maybe it is available for some zip code? or maybe I just got lucky.

PS4 yakuza like a dragon comes with a free steal book, while the ps5 does not.

It also raises the possible resale market. Only reason to get the ps5 disc would be for the white box.

Played this game last year in July... Really really good game for anyone who grew up with turn based rpg games. The real estate mini game is fun but nothing beats the hostess club game in Yakuza Zero.
