This looks like a great deal! Nice fast i7 processor!!! Of course a gaming gfx card is not expected at this price range. Not seeing a USB-C port but that may not be important for you. Remember, max 5 per person. 😁

yeah unfortunately the 3000 series is their budget line, and they seem to skimp hard on the screen quality for this lineup. while 220 nits is fine in a room with no windows, i'd also be concerned about color/contrast/viewing angles. i'm not saying to expect the same quality as a $1k laptop, but i've had first hand experience with a 3000 series a couple of years ago, and the screen quality (even though 1080p) wasn't something i wanted to live with on a daily basis. it reminded me of a lenticular printing (those pictures that change depending on what angle you look at it from).

i'm not sure how much has changed since then for the 3000 lineup, but that was enough to put me off of budget lineups, unless i planned on using a separate monitor.
