So these have come up about 20 times over the last few months. Has anybody got them? They look too long to be running shorts, so I'm guessing they're more for lounging and/or gym shorts? Any opinions on use and quality?

Seeing as they only have one color available, you'd have to get 2 pairs of the same color.
That's great if you're a cartoon character and wear the same clothes everyday, but sadly I'm just a human being.

I prefer the ones with zipper pockets. They were about the same price on eBay a few weeks ago, maybe $1-2 more.

I got these, and I use them for running. Fabric is thin, so works better for running than lounging. Used mostly inside on treadmill so far. I have other shorts that have the compression lining with pocket that allow me to carry my phone for outside runs.

What shorts do you use with the compression lining? I have some Lululemon shorts with the compression lining in them which I love. But man are they pricy.

Agreed. Light, high quality fabric along with the zipper pockets make this great for most exercise. Hardcore runners might find them a bit too long for their liking but in my opinion they are perfect for most activities.

I found these on Amazon [amazon.com]. Their brand Pinkbomb does need some rethinking. And they seldom go on a deal. Yet it should beat Lululemon in pricing.

They are quite good - material quality is at par or better than other big brand Adidas/Nike shorts that I have. The compression lining does its job well. I keep my phone there instead of carrying it in my sweaty hands, and it does not flop around. I have done a few 1/2 marathons on these. But I must point out that I am not a competitive runner. I run for fun and I am not trying to set PRs. Also I live in Iowa where it is almost always cool outside esp when I run in morning/evening. So I can't tell how these would perform in hot/humid environments.

Hope this helps.

I have two pairs of these and they have serviced me well so far. I wish I could find a deal on 7" length. The zippers sting pretty good on those sub freezing runs when your hands wack them

Every single time I see this deal they are out of large. They sell out quickly. I'll have to keep checking to see if they come back in stock. Always need more workout shorts.

I got these last time the deal came up. I really don't like them at all. They are fine if you aren't carrying your phone in your pocket. With my phone in my pocket it slaps my phone constantly against my knee. If I were to run with my phone in my pocket I definitely believe it would break the phone. It's so bad I'm just giving the shorts to Goodwill because just walking, the slap messes with my rhythm. Money down the drain.
