Does not output display via the USB-c. So cannot use with a USB dock. Need a separate HDMI cable.

Edit- can be used with a subset of docks that support DisplayLink. Those tend to be relatively expensive.

Bought this a few weeks ago when the deal was first time on SD. The laptop is Amazing. It is super fast and sleek. It is not lightweight as one would expect, but looks good build quality (which I prefer). Hopefully it will hold well in time, but with the awesome Costco + Citi 4-year (2+2) warranty, you can't go wrong. Mind that you need newer (at least 1.3) HDMI cable if you would like to connect it to a TV or a monitor.

AMD Ryzen 7 processor is a beast compared to Intel Pentium, i3, i5, i7 series processors. AMD has been doing really well with their Ryzen series processors. You can not go wrong with the purchase.

Hi, screen is great. That was my only concern before purchasing, since I was looking for an anti-glare, where this one has a glossy, but it doesn't bother me at all. Also, if you are asking about the nits and if it is bright enough, yes, it is more than enough. On top of that, Costco offers 90 days return policy, so what can you loose :-)

the new amd ryzen 7 blows the intel out in performance and battery life. the only weakness of this laptop is the 250 nits, which doesnt matter as long as you arent using this outdoors, and the buggy wifi card, which you can upgrade with a simple plug and play swap with an AX200 card for 18 bucks on amazon

I ordered the Dell 5406 (12GB RAM, 512GB SSD, Intel 11th Gen i7)... I used the Amex credit and $50 off to bag it for $615.
Do you guys think this Lenovo Flex 5 is better than the Dell? Is it worth the hassle of returning the Dell and getting this from Costco?

AFAIK, upgradable RAM is a very good advantage in Dell 5406.
