I bought several of these when they were 15. They are, by far, the best every day masks I've ever worn. The flexible nose metal works much better than other cloth masks, and while the inner filters are disposable, you can indeed wash them.

As a doctor, I have worn surgical masks every day for over a year to protect myself. My wife (who is also a doctor) has seen and examined more than a hundred patients with C19 in her nursing homes this past year, and has worn N95 and KN95 masks. Neither of us ever got infected (despite her being coughed on a number of times).

US hospitals have implemented isolation policies since the 1970's. Patients who are admitted with certain conditions are put on "droplet precautions" -- for diseases such as influenza, meningococcus, H flu, rhinovirus, adenovirus, pertussis, etc. Anyone entering the room of a patient on droplet precautions must wear a surgical mask.

The US faced large cultural barriers to mask wearing, which hasn't been helped by the political polarization. There's a reason that we are #1 in COVID cases and deaths by a large margin.

I am not using the OR filter that comes with the mask so I am using KN95 as the filter for this mask. It's perfectly fine. I have used it everyday and don't have any issue. Breathability is great and fit is great too. Thanks for your concern.

I was hoping the Adrenaline was in the darker color so it would show the dirt, but I'll have to settle for the lighter color.

Anyone have a recommendation for a washable mask that doesn't collapse down & stays off your mouth? The adrenaline sports mask seems to do just that but clearly has other issues according to reviews.

There were recommendations for double masking with N95s but for the sole purpose of extending the life of the N95 and reducing surface contamination rates on it. That was during the shortage though.

Easy to find online. REI sells a 3 pack for $2. Outdoor Research sells 10 & 25 packs on their website. A 25 pack is $20.

So do you change out the filter after each use? or you take out the filter, wash the mask, and put it back in for the next use? Thanks.

Love these. Bought at $19.99 and still think they were worth it then. Fit and nose bridge is great, zero fogging if you wear sunglasses or glasses. My parents hated wearing masks until I got these for them. If you want to double mask, just use two filters! Nice to just toss the filter and go. Definitely buy the 50 pack of spare filters.

My only issue is that the filter can easily come out. Get yourself some double sided tape or bra tape and then your good to go.
