Majority of them are the same but as you 'level up' the major diff is the wheels
The base has like plastic wheels, the lux above has harder with the rubber outer ring and the air has actual tires.

When your trying to get your kid lesrning it the cheaper units are way more harsher and the smaller size wheels catch things on sidewalks.

We used the base as a trainer till she was good on it without any assistance and i had looked at the lux but with thr target promo i went air for $85 vs $129 on prime (right now)

Lux is nice but i dont wanna buy these things every year haha

One of the main complaints on the Air is you have to keep the pressure up. If you don't mind pumping before you take it out then it will work for you.

I appreciate your suggestion. I canceled the Lux and bought the Air. I don't want to buy a new one next year either.

Great for older kids. Above 7, 8 years. Bought a couple last year for $85 during peak Covid. No sales then. This is a good price.

The air has more rolling resistance and will take more effort to keep going and going fast. That has a lot to do with the surface you are on. But generally the situation.

My kids (8 and 5) each got one of these for Christmas. They love them. I am tempted to grab my wife one so she can keep up when they go to the park.

The bigger wheels help with uneven sidewalks. They are sturdy. I have ridden it around some. Weight limit is 220lbs and I weigh 250.
