Just did this. Wanted to add some info. The bank is KYC so you'll be asked for all your info (DOB, SSN) and you can be taxed on the BTC profits. You can't buy any crypto other than BTC and your not really buying BTC, because you cant transfer to a wallet. So it's not like coin base. Also BTC is trading a little high right now (last week $50k, today almost $60k), might be smart to buy, then sell back and buy on the dip (~$50k?). This not financial advice. BTC might be worth $100k overnight, so again, not financial advice.

The money in your account can't be withdrawn back into your account. You can only send the money or BTC to other BAKKT members. (Correction, it will let you send cash back to your account, the UI just confused me).

They have a visa card they'll link to your account that you can use for online purchases (still pending on my account). You can also buy gift cards at a 5% discount.

Confirmed working. I am not sure the minimum but made sure to do at least .0001 BTC buy. no mention of the promo until after you give SSN and deposit but $10 was instantly added after the purchase
