At this price it begins to make sense to buy an external PCIe case with fast USB 3.1 or Thunderbolt connection and make yourself a very fast external drive— especially if you have a laptop with only 128gb or 256gb internal drive that is not replaceable or in a different format. 500 Gb is actually a lot of storage even by today's standards and if you get a fast connection that makes for an external drive that has a lot more uses than just storage.
For those without Amazon prime, BestBuy has the same price, I just ordered mine and had the option to either pick it up, or, free 1 day delivery: https://www.bestbuy.com/site/wd-w...Id=6338994
I swear the 500GB variant of the SN750 has always been on sale for $63. However, I got mine for $57 (tax included) last yr after purchasing it from Newegg by taking advantage of their discount for new customers by creating a new account.

Yeah, seems to be in this price range a lot. I paid $64.99 direct from WD on 03/24/2020
