So weird, I don't see Sam's club AND Walmart.com under "Participating Retailer". Someone, please let me know.

EDIT: NVM walmart is there. (note amazon.com isn't). I think I was looking at the different/outdated link. For the updated link go to acbincentives.com/mobil1/retailers.asp

Hi everyone! Tbh I like the fact that Walmart is a bit less expensive than elsewhere like Autozone BUT I still price match Walmart's price @ Autozone just because the Walmart's around me are a bit more complicated to get the oil filters behind the glass. So FYI, Autozone price matched Walmart's price

Man I wish motorcycle oil came in those big jugs. I have to buy it in overpriced quarts.

Oil filters behind glass at Walmart? Guess I haven't been to Walmart for a while but they were always out on open shelves. You could also order online plus free shipping over $35. Rebate is limit 2 so easy getting $35. Never had issues shipping Mobil 1 oil, probably because extra seal plus cap. Most ppl had issues shipping Kirkland from Costco since only seal is the cap, always leaked from shipping & handling. Not Mobil 1.

Great deal on Mobil 1. I'm beginning to think I have too much oil.

With full synthetics on my '14 civic it usually goes 6-8K without issues depending on where most driving is done (city/highway). The on board computer has oil life gauge that is calculated based on driving so it usually reaches 100% around that mark.
2.5-3K were old regular oil change cycles and new synthetics will last much longer IMO, sure you can do even 1K change intervals to make yourself feel better but don't think car's engine will "feel" any better as a result.

Nah you're good. Changing the filter regularly is the most important thing that most people neglect to focus on. 3-5k for a normally driven car is totally fine with an oem filter. It's not like you'd wear the car nearly hard enough to breakdown the oil regardless of brand.

Oil brands are generally like gas station brands, everyone has a preference. In reality, under normal usage, it doesn't really matter.

Does not matter. The Kirkland full syn = Amazon Basic full syn = Supertech full syn. These 3 brands are bottled at the same plant and performance is very close to Mobil 1 full syn. With syn you can double your oil change interval.

You're wasting money and oil. This isn't 1970s oil

Track your rebate! I did this last time and they rejected the receipt my first attempt. Second try and it worked
