Obviously, you need to be a Best Buy Credit Card holder for this deal. Got this in my e-mail yesterday. Offer needs to be activated on the card. Spend $250 in a single transaction between April 1 and April 10 online or in-store and receive a $25 e-Gift card, which will be sent 5-6 weeks after the end of the promotion.

Title of the e-mail is: "NAME, Cardmember Appreciation starts now! Here's your first offer: Earn a $25 Best Buy® e-Gift Card." Received 11:51 AM EST on April 1.

The terms do not seem to imply limitations on gift cards:

Since when you have been a credit card holder?! I find it absurd you didn't get one. I have been one for nearly 2 years and I haven't got one

The $225 price for this thread is very misleading; your BB Card is gonna get hit for $250... not $225. It's really more like, "Get $275 worth in purchases for $250". For this to be a $225 deal, you would need to get a $25 credit (not a $25 GC) on a $250 single purchase.

So Best Buy just told me the reward certificate is one time use, meaning if you return the product the coupon won't be sent back to you and they won't convert it to points if it is expiring. That is a deal breaker for me, won't be using BB credit card any more. Shame, I spent 10K+ last year and received almost 300 in certificates, in addition to points.
