For nvidia owners, the key is buying a monitor on their official list. It includes Gsync panels and Certified Gsync compatible monitors. If it's on the list, it is guaranteed to be flicker free w/ gsync.

This monitor is on the list. But the dell curved 32" was not. I have this monitor with a RTX 3080 and I have had zero issues.

I have been doing a ton of Research into 1440p 144hz (min) 27in gaming monitors (and 32) the best two I have determined are this and the LG GL850-B.
This Dell has the better brightness(400 over 350), DisplayHDR 400 (over HDR 10), sRGB 144% over 135%, 165 over 144hz on DP.

Everybody's experience can be different but my experience with this monitor and Dell was horrible. I got a defective monitor so contacted customer support. They said if it's defective, I need to talk to technical support. Technical support said I need to talk to customer support because it's within 30 days. I was transferred back and forth 4 times. I thought like wow... they really didn't want to send the replacement... So I just requested the return and refund. Good for you if you like this monitor but I don't think I will do any business with Dell in the future.
Probably got a cranky worker in there. These monitors have advanced replacement, they send you the replacement monitor before you have to return your monitor if it's defective. Usually pretty good customer service.

I never seam to have the dell amex offer. Any tips on how to get it show up?
Typically it goes front page day it's available. I check my amx cards for eligibility and add it to the card if its there. After the 1st few days they hit the max account adds for the promotion. The average duration for use is 3 months.

When the OP says it it will
Not downscale to 1440p for PS5, do they say that because at the moment the PS5 does not support it but if Sony updates their system then this monitor should work fine then for 1440

That's how I understand it. I'm no expert, but I think if Sony decides to support 1440p, that will mean this monitor will work without having to downscale the 4K

I have this monitor. Probably not as good as the LG but it's very good. This is my daily monitor. For games and work this is perfect. I had a 32" Dell and it was too big. I love 27".

What's the best item to pair this with to take advantage of the Amex $100 back deal?

Great monitor, great price. I bought this monitor refurbished for $450 from Best Buy at the beginning of the school year. Love this thing. Great colors and very fast.

Only problem is that lately Nvidia has been releasing bad drivers for my GTX 1070 that causes gsync to flicker black when stressing the GPU. I rolled back my drivers to a few months ago so I'm not sure if it's been fixed yet. This is not a problem with the monitor, this is a problem with Nvidia.

100% recommend at this price you can't beat it.

I worked in tech support. We once had departments sending a guy spendong several thousand a month with us back and forth. I called him to solve the problem. And actually got called into management where I explained his biggest gripe after all said and done was being bounced back and forth.

Is this monitor worth it if I do not plan to take advantage of the 165hz refresh rate? I'm not a gamer and only want a 27'' 1440p monitor for media consumption and general office work. Occasional video/photo editing as well.

Seems nice and all, but still a bit pricey for me after taxes.
Nice that some of you got it for less last year..
