Not a steal, pretty steep for not having a dedicated graphics card
Looks pretty good to me, for a thin and light daily user. Pretty good specs too.

Note: This is not a gaming laptop. It is a good laptop that can game a bit. G7 isn't as good as new Vegas, but it's about best that intel has got.

PS: The AMD one was cheaper, but less ram and less SSD.

AMD one also comes with a poor 250 nits 45% NTSC display vs 300 nits 72% NTSC display. This is a pretty good Laptop for the price. You can check the review below for the i5-1135G7.

The thin-and-lights that do have dedicated graphics won't have significantly better graphics performance than the Xe graphics in this.

Bought my son the swift 5 with touch i7-1165g with 1tg/16gb ram and my daughter the M1 macbook air with 16gb ram 512gb. Both are very impressive. I was impressed how light the swift is.. Just an all around nice ultrabook.. The M1 is nice but does hiccup when rendering a 16gb video file in final cut Pro. The laptop crashed 2 times. She was clueless what happened.. Felt like it was Y2K all over again with editing a big file.. The swift handled the video edit but I don't have video editing software and just used a free app.. Think the next wave a apple products will finally be what people have been wanting.. the swift 5 and the 1165g processor is a nice pc. If you don't need touch or 1tb the Swift 3 would be a nice buy..

Can you link the version with touch? Only thing missing for me in the OP's link is touch.

think the Evo I-1165g had the better screen over the iris xe max option. Think the Evo had other changes..

True but I think AMD still tends to do better on the GPU driver front than Intel. I have a cheapie ThinkPad E595 with Ryzen 5 3500U (for Excel wfh) and a ThinkPad X1 Nano with i5-1130G7. The older Ryzen handles ePSXe with shaders better.

I love the X1 Nano and it's practically got no competition in the sub-2 lb space. Scratch that, just saw the slickdeal for the LG Ultra PC. I may swap... Scratchchin

At 2.5-3 lbs though, I would personally look towards Renoir or newer if one wants a thin and light that can do some light gaming/old games. If all one needs is office work though, this is a pretty decent deal on an ultrabook.

This is an 11th gen intel. Wouldn't this be at the level or better than renoir?

It should be at the level of Renoir. In my experience though, Intel's worse than AMD when it comes to graphics drivers.
