The killer DLC I recommend as a long time player is the leatherface DLC. It comes with a perk called BBQ and chili which is basically a way to increase your progression speed and is among the most used perks in the game for killer.

I bought it a few months ago during a winter sale for about $5 more from the same site, and it activated fine.
