The article you linked to suggests the exact opposite purchase of what you suggest:
"The best device for most people is a device with an automatically inflating arm cuff and large digital readout for easy reading."
Having done manual blood pressure readings, there's no way most people can take their own blood pressure manually and accurately. These are some of the most accurate consumer level monitors and generally work quite well.
$37.49 for me after WELCOME25 coupon code

I remember there was controversy with Omron 10 series regarding how super invasive its app was. Something to keep an eye on.

I got one from CVS a week ago. CVS, as usual, has MSRP prices. I had one 40% off coupon, another 30% off coupon and CVS was offering $20 rewards $. Effectively I paid about $24 with taxes. Still, even at $50 this is a very good deal and with WELCOME25 it seems to be an excellent deal.
dead now. where can we get that 40% and 30% off coupons? will join cvs plus if we can pull this there.

I do not know what you mean by "cvs plus". I did not join the CarePass if that is what you mean. Just create an account, subscribe to their newsletter + extracare whatever (see https://www.cvs.com/extracare). I do not remember details as this was quite a few years ago. They often send 30%-40% coupons but given high starting prices, I often do not use them (even after 40% off some prices are still higher than Amazon or Target). However, a couple of times a year they would send you a couple of coupons, or they might have a 30% off sale on a product that you would like to get. In those cases, applying two coupons to a full priced item or one coupon (or two, if lucky) to a discounted item (like how they gave $20 extrabucks back on Omron 10) results in a very good deal. I waited a couple of days after I bought Omron and got another 30% off coupon which I used with the $20 extra bucks from Omron 10 purchase and a $20 off min $70 purchase deal to get a top oximeter (which I was planning to get from Amazon for about $30 anyway) and expensive multivitamins ($25 an Amazon) for about $30 total at CVS.

Great deal curus. Let me see if I can find
Head to CVS and subscribe to their newsletter. then look at https://www.cvs.com/shop/omron-10...id-2580126 - it says (as of 04/04/2021):
"$20 ExtraBucks Rewards for purchasing Omron BP10, BP7000 Monitors or Body Scales"
The 30%-40% off coupons are pretty typical for CVS - I get them at least once a month.

To top this off, I used Discover card which gives 5% cashback for purchases at CVS and grocery stores 01/01/21-03/31/21.

In total, I paid $72 with taxes for Omron Series 10, NuvoMed oximeter, and Newchapter multivitamins (48 ct). Equivalent oximeter and vitamins from Amazon would cost $53 with taxes. So, effectively I paid $19 with taxes for this Omron 10.

What "all that work"? Do you mean adding items to cart or applying coupons? (BTW, coupons are applied automatically) Price on Amazon for Omron, equivalent oximeter and vitamins [IMPORTANT NOTE: that I was going to buy anyway] is $69 + $25(oximeter was $30 on Amazon when I ordered Omron) + $24 + $7 (taxes) = $125 I paid about $72 That's about $50 savings. Even if I did not purchase anything else other than BPM, my cost at CVS was $44 (or so) assuming one would throw away the $20 extra-bucks and not use them to purchase anything else at CVS.

Using your logic, why do you "miss" this Walgreens deal? It was just $50 compared to $69 at Amazon. For just $19 more, just get it from Amazon and enjoy this amazing BPM.

doing all your legwork just to reach the same price like this one, while waiting or begging some coupons from cvs.

from this deal, you just need to clip 1 single coupon thats available to everyeone and check out.

i missed this deal because i was busy reading all the comments from the "experts" on how accurate this device is vs the hand pump manual one.

It is really not begging anything. It is no different than waiting for a coupon from Walgreens. They email you all the coupons once a week. If this is not a product that I need right away (like that oximeter or vitamins) - I just wait for the right moment.

Omron is one of the best BPM, IMO. I understand what "experts" say, but I am not trained to take my own BP so this is next best. I have a 7 years old Omron that is still going strong and I went to the doctor and he got the same reading. Did not "calibrate" it before. I hope they still have same quality and reliability.
