Seems very specific to one task. I usually have a hard time justifying purchases like these.

Wow. Wondered what this could be, so I watched the video. You fill this with soil and then push it out with a plunger to make a seed mound. Something you can do a lot faster with an empty nursery pot. I like some Fiskars products, but this is completely unnecessary.

Just use a plastic cup or empty pot and do the same thing for free.

Ahh, another worthless item to use resources to manufacture and ship, to then be purchased, used once (maybe), and eventually dumped in a landfill.

If the soil dries out won't it all just crumble apart? This looks like one of those tools that's more work to use than it's good for

The point is that Most already have those things lying around and probably even threw some away because they don't have a need for it anymore.

Paper towel/toilet paper core, empty milk can, water bottle etc. Check youtube on how to use them.

Plastic nursery pots are free with every seedling or plant purchased. Gardeners reuse them and recycle them automatically. This is just a mold and it doesn't require much imagination to repurpose margarine or yogurt containers to do the same thing. Also it's gardening, so just use your own hands and get them dirty.
