No. Get another 8 GB of the same kind and rip benefits of dual channel.
Or buy someone else's 8gb stick and have 16 in dual channel. Like I did last night.
There are only a thousand brand new G5 desktops with no GPU on eBay presently. Some of those guys understand they aren't selling, or for much, and happy to part it.
Lmfao. Gaming utilizes Vram. On the GPU. 8gb is sufficient enough if you're only using streaming or recording software like OBS. unless you plan on using mutiple software or windows at the same time, then you can OPT for 16GB ram or more. You can also OVERCLOCK your 8gb ram is you're on a budget.
