Not a great deal, but just looking at the price history it looks like a good price given the pandemic shortage of workout supplies. Personally I'll wait for a better bench, I really want one where I can do weighted leg extensions.
i didn't buy this exact model but the Flybird bench i bought was delivered as not flat. If i inspected the bench from an angle, i could see that it was heavily misaligned to the left. As much as i tried manually adjusting the bench to be flat, it eventually goes back to the weird angle a few minutes later.
Was looking at this and the Bowflex benches. Looking for a bench that folds down or stows away somehow. Unfortunately for me, the Bowflex has too big of a footprint.
Any suggestions on an alternative bench that stores away?
I bought this bench a couple months back before returning it.
It's made of cheap metal which bent on day 2 and dangerous to do any sort of heavy lifting on.
I bought a different Flybird bench, and it was terrible. Pad wasn't even one piece, and it started bunching up within a couple weeks. Plus the damn thing was super high off the ground.
If you want a good bench, $100 isn't gonna do it.
I have this one, and love it. $245 right now with a 15% coupon.
If this isn't great, Which is a better sturdy bench that is recommended for the similar benches?
One of the best cheap benches I have come across is this one[dickssportinggoods.com]. If you want a legitimately good bench and are willing to spend more, I suggest this one[ironmaster.com]. If you want a really good adjustable bench, you're looking at $700-1,000 new or $300+ used (depending on the specific bench).

I purchased this at the start of the pandemic and returned it, since it just wasn't well constructed for anything heavy duty. I lucked into a Bells of Steel bench for 30% off and have been a very satisfied customer. I couldn't justify paying Rogue type prices, but I didn't want to be replacing my bench in a year or two. The BoS looks like it should last me forever, since I don't use barbells or powerlift..
I got mine with a $20 coupon total was 112 with tax. Its super nice, compact. No assembly required, can't believe amazon charges 99 for "expert," to assemble.
