For those of you who don't know what this is - try it! Basically, it's soy sauce mixed with citrus so to me, it's not quite as salty as straight soy sauce and easily used in any application as a substitute for soy sauce. There's a sister product of this with lime that I love.

I haven't tried the Marukan one, but I prefer the Mitsukan Ajipon brand over the Kikkoman one. I think the Kikkoman one is the most widely available one out of the three brands.

Kikkoman's regular Ponzu sauce is ok, very much like soy sauce with a dash of citrus. The Chili Ponzu sauce is much better imo.

Ponzu is soy sauce with a strong hint of vinegar. Not sure what Pon means but zu definitely means vinegar.

So this particular deal is soy sauce with vinegar and citrus juice.

completely agree. these front page "deals" are diluting what used to be a much greater deal site.

I know Amazon tells customers the S&S price will fluctuate and update based on the price of the item, but it clearly does not, as I had this item already in a shipment, and they were going to charge me the full price. Easy to remove and re-add at the new price, but seems like S&S is just there to run the long con on pricing.
