Just a quick heads up, AOE 2 is probably the one a lot of people have a lot of nostalgia for and the definitive version of that holds up great.

This one though... even the definitive edition of this particular game is kinda rough. Each civ is basically identical, the unit pathing is abominable, and the main campaigns are very dull. They improved a lot in the second one.
I'm afraid to buy this because I want to actually see my family. I spent 100s of hours playing this and AOE2. Right now I'm addicted to Northguard on the switch.
when will we see on ipad/iphone? this seems like a no brainer to make a few million $ (the AOE original generation are all parents lying in bed poking on mobile devices aren't we?)

Same here, I've spent too much time on aok in the past... Can't afford to do that anymore, will have to resist hard!
