1 yard = 27 cu. ft = approx. 14 bags
14 bags with this deal = $28
1 yard bulk delivered = $55
I can get it down to $46/yard if I order 4 yards but that's still way more expensive, and how long will that pile be blocking my driveway?

I'd get it right from the statement on the bag, "...locally made".
Last year - there was no spring event at all.
Do yourself a huge favor and spend a little more and get mulch delivered by the yard or even better, if you have a truck pick it up.

For those of you that only need a bag or two you're probably fine but the quality is seriously trash.

Welcome to inflation.
I also used this mulch last year. Had no issues with it and nothing inside of it. Still in place and looks decent too. Going to top off this year again. I am ok with mulch breaking down, it makes the clay useable after a few years. In the garden areas where we've been using mulch for years, the soil is so nice.
I find bagged is easier to manipulate than having a pile sitting in your yard.
Overall the size and color looks about the same. Though the vigoro brand has a stronger barn smell.
Wonder if HD 10% off on 30+ vigoro bags applies with this current promo.
Or 5yards or more $10
compared to the bags above?
You need 13.5x 2 cu ft bags to equal 1 yard
