Yes it is.

This is a good deal.

I would recommend calling around locally if you need a large quantity.

My wife called a farm up the road from us and they charge $20yd for garden soil (not screened) And $30/yd for screened soil (larger items like mulch are sifted out).

I had good luck last year planting grass seed using screened soil.

The miracle grow comes out to $72 / yd vs $30 if I buy locally. I'm so close they waive the delivery, but if you have a pickup it may work for some. (Farm also doesn't charge me tax 🤫)

Again, this is a good deal, but I would call around if you need more that 10 bags or so. I'm sure location matters, Im in NJ and happen to be close to a lot of farm.

I will add the convenience of transporting bags vs having to shovel into a cart and dump should not be ignored. Very easy to toss a bag into the garden bed, cut open and dump.

Sigh. When did I get so old? Scrolling through 5 pages worth of comments to try and figure out if SOIL is a good deal and what I need to rehab my lawn. Is this the type of adulting I've been reduced to? 🤷

The ad does not specify that it is an in-store only deal. The product itself is available for purchase online (currently at regular price). I would imagine that the price would reflect online tomorrow and can be purchased online tomorrow, for in-store pickup or local truck delivery.

That beats the on sale price from Lowe's ($4.48 for two) also starting from tomorrow.

Can I use the Whitney Farm soil sold in Costco in a raised garden bed alone? The bag says for mending in ground soil. That is 8 bucks for 50 Qt.
Sorry about unrelated question but couldn't pass up the opportunity of asking people who know better than me.

People were arguing with me about the $2.47 Walmart deal... $2/bag per usual at Home Depot.

I would mix it with a little sand/soil. Thats what I do and works well.

you tossed the plastic bags into your garden?

can i use these for my pots assume i drill 100 holes in my pots? need some potting mix for cheap
bag specifically says not for pots.
this is basically compost, fine mulch, and a little peat moss. it's not actually "soil."

for potting buy a bag of perlite and mix at like 2:1
