It is called "Direct Delivery" ,sometimes they don't have "Direct Delivery" inventory.
You have to wait home delivery of your new A32 phone.

1. I could do this deal by buying the phone at Costco and later trade in an old phone at T mobile store? I guess it links by putting it on the same phone number?
2. I was at Costco yesterday and the rep told me there was no $30 Costco card. Did the promo expire, he doesn't know what he was talking about, or something I should say to him?
Thank you so much.
However, I did trade a S9 for iPhone 12 (the Mother's Day promo). What happens is that they enter the IMEI for the S9 and answer the questions about quality (I had to convince them to do so even though I didn't have device with me). The new iPhone 12 will be shipped by them through Direct Delivery (so this is Wireless Advocates stock, not Costco's) and I only had to pay $74 for tax directly to them.
They printed out shipping label for me to ship my S9 back to T-Mobile/Assurant.
Also, they gave me form to claim my $30 Costco card from mypromochoice.com. The title of the form is "TMO Member Benefit $30 Costco Shop Card. Get a $30 Costco shop card with the purchase of any handset." But this is only through Direct Delivery, and not if you buy one of the phones that Costco has in stock (which are already discounted from MSRP)

Also note that inventory online is not reliable. I called ahead and the wireless kiosk said they had A32 available for Direct Delivery. I went to the store, did all the paperwork, and at last step where it shows that they have like 5 available on their system, when they try to add it to my cart it says "none available" or something like that.
