To uninstall many junk apps preloaded by Samsung:
- Download, install, and launch the Minimal ADB and Fast Boot tool on your PC.
- Download, install, and launch the App Inspector app on the phone.
- On your phone, go to Settings and tap on About Phone. Find the Build Number and tap on it 7 times to enable Developer Options.
- Enter Developer Options and enable USB Debugging.
- Connect the phone to the PC via the supplied USB cable.
- Change to "file transfer (MTP)" mode at the phone.
- You will see a prompt on your phone asking you to authorize a connection with the computer. Grant it.
- Enter the command "adb devices" (no ") at the command prompt (PC screen).
- Enter the command "adb shell" if you see the serial number of the phone displayed. If not, then remove/reconnect the USB cable, grant connection, and retype the "adb devices" command.
- Enter pm uninstall -k --user 0 <name of package> for the app that you want to uninstall as displayed in App Inspector.
For Example, to remove youtube: pm uninstall -k --user 0 com.google.android.youtube
To restore youtube: cmd package install-existing com.google.android.youtube

Deal was better under Sprint - iPhone 12 free w/trade of iPhone8 or higher... upgraded 3 lines yesterday!
Hopefully costco would give the cash deal. I hate the 24 months bill credit. Anybody know if my iPhone 11 has couple months to go, it would lose the bill credit if I pay it off early

I did the iPhone 11 trade-in deal. I just received text that trade was approved for $206.
Should that $206 show up immediately as a one-time credit posted to my account?
Or will it be posted in the future under an upcoming billing cycle?
I am looking to see where it would be posted in my account as an actual credit and don't yet see it.
How many days after the phone was delivered before you received the text?

Not sure exactly. It seemed pretty quick this time, like within 5 days.

Yep, the iPhone 11 was delivered to Assurant on Mon and I received the approval text today (Fri).

I sent three phones, all delivered 5/4. Texts for the first phone were received on 5/10, the second phone on 5/11, and then the last phone today 5/14.

I need an advise, please.
More then a week ago I dropped off package with old trade-in phone.
Just checked USPS tracking, no any info of transit or delivery. Only when label was created.
Do not care of old phone, but do not want to pay full price for Samsung A32 obviously.
Wait more or call T-Mobile to return?
Thanks.
I had mailed off 3 phones. 2 were scanned and one wasn't. I waited for about a week and a half and called T-mobile. They reported phone had just arrived into their warehouse.
I would advise you to call T-mobile and see if they received it.

Can you get this device on Sprint Free Unlimited line on us? Under Sprint, it was not possible to get a device on a free line. Not sure if it will work with plan being labeled TMo. The plan is TMO Unlimited Savings MRC which includes the tax. Thanks

Even if the credit is not done next week, should you/we call? The tracking is proof of us sending back the trade-ins. How long they take to process it isn't our problem, right? I have one trade-in phone (out of three) delivered on May 6th and still waiting them to process it.

I received approvals for all 4 of my ancient phones that I turned in. 2 of them I didn't even bother to test if they will turn on or not because they are so old and I couldn't find the chargers anymore. Hope this eases some concerns about rejections.

I saw people advising to pay off EIP only after seeing 1-2 credit. I have few phones on EIP. Will it be okay if I pay 80% of of those before my phone is accepted. I need to reach credit card expense and want to make sure this wont screw up EIP.

I also have 3 instore trade in which has posted 1 credit. Is is safe to pay those off or should I only pay 80% to be safe.

As long as you've received a credit for an EIP you're good to pay it off - just make sure the promo credit has actually posted (you can check your account promotions online; should say at least "1 of 24") before you pay it off or the promotion may not stick. Also, once you pay off the balance on an EIP the credits become account credits and that line is eligible for a new promotion/EIP.

Is there any benefit to paying it off right away? Obviously if another deal comes along that you want to use on the line, I get, but is there any other reason? If another deal comes you want to do can it just be paid off then?
