I paid the first A32 5G off and the unlock request is already on the account, happened 5 seconds after I paid off. The phone can not be unlocked yet, as not past 40 days. I tried and got error messages. Essentially, the minute it arrived I put a working T-Mo SIM in and booted it up. It's since been in the drawer offline until the unlock requested after I paid. Then I tried and it failed. 40 days is Tuesday and then I will try to unlock on the phone. (Under "other network settings", hit request permanent unlock). Should work then on Tue as paid off and 40 days since first registration on T-Mobile network.
This list gets rid of non-essential google stuff. We're using this phone as an mp3 player for a child. It disables 51 apps. The rest can be user uninstalled.

Above works. Thanks.
The upgrade charge and tax together is $60+, so basically that's how much I paid for this phone. The $11.75 per month charge and credit equals out to be $0 per month. But I suspect if we change carrier half in the 24 month, then we'll need to pay for the rest of amount.
I traded in a super old Android phone I found, LG Optimus LS670 Sprint, it still power on, screen no crack. I took it to T-Mobile store tech looked at it and said no problem as long it powers on, no crack and no sign of water damage then any phone will work.

Accidentally sent two of the phones using the same shipping label, d'oh! After wringing my hands for a couple of days, wrote the Assurant warehouse but got no response. Called up T-Mo, agent said this was actually pretty common and they knew how to handle it. I gave the correct RMA numbers and IMEI's, got notification a couple days later that phones had been processed and approved. Been pretty happy dealing with T-Mo customer service when I've had to call them, and this was also a pleasant experience.
Phones are now getting credits on T-Mo. Long live T-Mo! Happy customer for a few years, now, and don't plan on switching any time, soon. A32 5G is amazing value for a free phone. Responsive, big screen; we use one as a YouTube client/video player for a kiddo. Other two phones are backups/alt-phones for when we don't want to share data with particular app or employer.
Bottom line: Possibly the slickest deal, ever. Top 5, IMO. Thank you, Slickdeals.
