For $120, I'm not sure I'll find something else with like this. I ordered an extra battery for $35 so I can play for almost an hour. I get the "no gimbal" but I didn't think the videos looked that bad.
No gimbal, no buy. Video for this looks like trash
I checked the video in the product listing page, it has gimbal right? 00:52 seconds, you can see the camera swivels top the bottom.
The customer images shows good picture quality even. for $120 I don't think its too shabby.

No, just cause the camera moves doesn't mean it has a gimbal. There is no stabilization. Trust me. I've owned many drones.
Makes sense, Thank You for the reply instead of biting me.
No worries. I think you can get something similar to this for around $50 if you are looking to play around. You get what you pay for. To get one with a gimbal, it'll be a few hundred dollars at the least

I have no prior experience other than playing with a few toy drones in the past. After some thinking, I have placed my order yesterday. I am hoping that probably this is an OK deal considering that it has brushless motor, 4K camera and GPS.
I would appreciate if someone who knows this drone market could comment on that? Or maybe suggest a better deal for a similar drone?
Also do we have to register this particular one (I live in MA)?
I bought this one. It's a good deal. I've owned/own quite a few drones as well. This one falls squarely into the beginner drone category. It is not a toy but it doesn't have all the bells and whistles either. It's a drone that you can train on and still get some decent shots, (or check if your gutters need to be cleaned) but you won't be out too much if you crash and burn.
I think this might make a great beginner drone. It's an inexpensive way to get into it. It's probably better than wasting 1k on a loaded up DJI and realizing you never use it. Seems like a pretty good deal to me. I have a Spark and I almost never use it.
I'm interested in the "follow me" feature. I am perturbed by not being able to fly my neighbor's DJI in my neighborhood. I don't think this has those restrictions like DJI. I will report back.

Agreed. I was on the fence until I watched some videos on youtube. They were so astonishing clear that I fell off the fence...
To tell you the truth, the videos looked so stable that I thought it had a ginball until now.
For this price it seems like the right entry level drone. Too bad that the extra battery costs almost as much as the drone itself.
Just hope it's not the same fiasco as the $50 one they were selling early in the week.
A caution to newbies who are not experienced flying drones like me. I bought a similar one last week. I charged it and excitedly turned it on. I hit controls trying to figure it out and it slammed into me and I had no idea how to turn it off and all the while the drone kept slamming into me. Its funny but the pain is real. Keep a distance from it.
