I love Lenox blades! Thick and durable. Have not used these but would not hesitate buying them based on other products the company makes.

The Amazon link shows $13.52 and not the $5.69 you posted.

IF your looking to cut a little bit of wood, and want a smoother cut, these blades will work. If your looking to remove wood or cut sections quickly, these blades are not the best for that. You would want the wood blades which have the larger teeth and less teeth per inch. Having a few of metal, bi metal and wood is good for renovation work. They make specific blades for demo work that are good for speed cutting wood and can take a few nails.

In all reality, don't expect any blade to last that long. Have several on hand and replace when the cutting slows down, teeth grind down or blade gets bent. I've used dewalt, milwaukee, bosch, lennox, etc.. They pretty much fare about the same, some lasting a little longer than others. Nothing stands out in my mind as an OMG blade. I've used the diablo before to try them out, but I don't recall if they were significantly better. Diablo's other woodworking blades and bits are outstanding though.

I have never used these blades before, always favored Diablo blades. Metalworking and welding is a hobby for me. I find that slowing down cuts with reciprocating saws will make blades last much, much longer, as well as making the cut more accurate.

Heat kills, go slow! Same principle in drilling metal. Too fast ruins the bit or the blade.

fyi when you order it will say free shipping, but when you get your confirmation email there will be shipping charged. Also I can't find my order on their site because I don't have a grainger account number apparently so I can't even cancel.

Shipping is $10 for me. completely kills the deal.
