While I prefer you're more traditional pop-up books, I do own a couple of pull out map/environment books, including "Game of Thrones: A Pop-Up Guide to Westeros" and "Harry Potter: A Pop-Up Guide to Hogwarts". Those are much more impressive in engineering and design.
Both the engineering of the pop-ups, and especially the art in this is very drab.

Once open, there isn't much to look at other than that page and the display, and then you have to go back through the process of "re-closing" everything. It's not like a traditional pop-up book where you just open a page and everything pops out at you. Everything needs to be separately "opened up".
It seems almost misleading that they even call it a popup book. It really should be labeled as a "popup map".
