Yeah, but in the past, reputable companies were extremely selective about any non-standard products they'd put their name on. If it wasn't up to their standards, they wouldn't do it. For example, if John Deere was going to put their name on a multi-tool, they wouldn't do it unless it was comparable to Leatherman or Gerber.
China has really changed the game with low-cost, cheaply made products. Everything is disposable now so it's not as much of a risk to their reputation to put out a poor quality tool like this.
The last generation had tools that would last a lifetime, so something like this would really piss them off, this generation is used it.
This doesn't look high quality.

I'd rather get a smaller leatherman or Gerber multi tool
i dont think there used to ever be a time when a "brand name" tossed on a product in a completely unrelated category, was a sign of quality.

its like buying a blender with a john deer logo on it. i dont think there was ever a time that that would scream quality.

Sadly, brand name products aren't what they used to be.

You are so correct on that. When I was a kid, If you found something with a brand name, it would be much more expensive. But, every knew it was much definitely much better quality. Craftsman is but one brand name that used to mean quality.

Probably as bad as their new equipment, we switched to Case because of all the breakdowns and no way of doing diagnostics only a dealer service technician can scan them. The steel used on their equipment is also very weak now, our older models still take a beating.

Lol yep! I've met old guys who have been using the exact same Craftsman circular saw for 40 years.

That's interesting to know...Caterpillar stock is at an all time high.
Nearly double last year.

Guess it pays to sell out and make a crappy product these days. Quantity over quality.

HUGE EDIT!!!

I WAS REVIEWING THR WRING PRODUCT, LOL! I'm sorry, too early. this is what I was talking about below: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B074P8J...Q2JH2GDHYJ

as far as the product mentioned, I would not buy this at all... does even look like the blades lock out which is very dangerous if you are using it.

Original Post:
I might get another one. I have a lot of letterman's. Nothing beat Letterman, that's just facts.

Well I was only hunting trip last year and I didn't have my letterman. I was in tractor supply even a few objects and I saw Chester multi-tool alone. I looked it over and it was on sale for 10 or 15 dollars... Maybe 20. I know it wasn't asleep there because I had seen online where people that bought this whole set. Any who I purchased it.

This thing was just what I needed in the woods. And prove this worth when I was cutting branches out of the way and using it to work on my tree stand and even my atv. Everyone running around saying that looks fake or blah blah blah.. you probably wouldn't even use it.

That big saw blade is better than what I've got on any of my letterman's. It's big grip was perfect for using it with gloves on in the woods. No lie I was very impressed.. just saying this, I'm going to order another one. This way I can have one and another hunting bag. I hate having to move tools or supplies from one step to another one. This will allow me to have that tool in both places.
