Just a little soapbox here, but DO NOT buy the combo with the 9.0ah battery - the 8.0 and 12.0 batteries are a newer design and there are multiple accounts of people having issues and premature failures with their 9.0ah batteries. I personally have 2 of the 9.0s and 1 of them no longer charges correctly while I have much older (smaller) batteries that are still chugging along.

I do know that the pole saw attachment costs more individually, and as such it is a better deal to get it free with this bundle, but there is also a bundle with a free edger attachment.

Yea I wasn't sure if I could post 2 links in one post. The edger is $99 and the pole saw is $149 individually. I was also wondering the same thing

To bad it doesn't come with hedge trimmer instead.

The only thing I don't like about these attachments is that they are absurdly long (especially the hedge trimmer). I would've liked shorter attachments and the option to do multiple shorter extension poles instead.

True. I was looking at the standpoint of value since the 8ah battery seem to be worth more than the attachments individually.

Nice deal. The Milwaukee multihead yard tools are crazy expensive. Had I seen this two months ago, I might have committed to the Milwaukee ecosystem instead of DeWalt. That said, the Dewalts are still cheaper and perform well enough for me.
