Let's do some math (Probably we should get it done from the beginning)

Parts Breakdown (amazon ~ MSRP):
CPU AMD 5600x -- $300
Mobo Asrock B500M Pro4 -- $139
Memory DDR4 32GB 3200 MHz -- $160
SSD 1TB NVMe -- $105
DEEPCOOL Gammaxx GT -- $30
800W 80+ Gold PSU -- Let's say $100
Case iBUYPOWER Trace 5 MR -- $80
OS Windows Home + build/shipping fees ~ $100
-------------------------------------------------------------------
Sum it up, that's $1014 for roughly everything but the GPU. Therefore, you're paying $1000 for a 3080.

That means your are getting 3080 almost for MSRP. What can go wrong?
But if something go wrong you can cancel the order before it is shipped.
shipping in june a shame
You are dreaming. Even not considering the supply shortage, I can easily forecast either nvidia not going to release new card until 2023, or price the new card based on hashrate.

decent price, but 2 months time to get it really kills. 2 months and 1 week to be real lol. if you plan to mine to get money back good luck. you got 2-3 weeks before eip 1559 hits XD.

so a lot of gpus and such hardware are going to be offloaded onto the market. it's not about inflation guys, its about the fact that the most profitable coin now will lose possibly 50% of the mining profits, which can kill some people's ability to farm. So essentially, what made the gpus worth money will lose part of that premium. People will still mine, but the argument is what affect this will have on the price of gpus. Obviously they will go down, why else do you think manufacturers are trying to push these out and get the orders in now?
Good thinking. But my experience telling the opposite. It's like investment strategy. Sceptics are always telling DON'T buy house - real estate market is a bubble, collapse inevitable. DON'T buy bitcoin in 2015, 2018, 2020, DON't buy overpriced RTX 3080 in November 2020 because they will be cheaper. And what did gain all these sceptics? Nothing. My coworker has been dreaming for buying house in Bay Area more than 10 years and waiting for collapse but market is going upper and upper despite pandemia, crisis and everything.

My feeling is that cryptomining GPU demand will not go away at least until 2022. There is a number of factors: 1) work/study from home; 2) crisis in the chip industry, drought in Tawain 3) Cheap money due to historically low interest rates 4) Free money due to covid stimulus.

lol you guys have no idea about crypto, I've staked DOT since August and have already earned 33 of them (ill let you guys find out how much that is)

you guys are all ignorant like that Treasury lady, no wonder they kicked her out the Fed.
So it's going to keep going up in value right? I've heard it's a good strategy to buy when the value of something is high and sell when it's low...

You ever heard of Coinbase? The company that had $1.9 billion in revenue and $800 million in profits for Q1 2021 and is around a $70 bit market cap

You're a clown dude you shouldn't talk

Haha, yea. Investing is easy - just buy low and sell high. The only problem is that nobody knows where is low and where is high.

Coinbase earns profit for financial services and exchange regardless of the value of cryptos. Use all the childish insults you want, but atleast I understand the difference between cryptocurrency investment and a business that makes money from banking services.

Not sure I entirely understand the Q. The component details are given in the customization panel. It says: Memory - G.Skill Ripjaws V
All parts are customizable, you can chose from their list.

That is exactly right. That is why a bank that has diversified investing strategies (like some traditional banks) can have more stability and longterm growth than one that ties itself to one high risk high reward investment type like cryptocurrencies.

Economics are one of the most complex fields imaginable. It just makes me laugh when some people think others are fools because they "don't get" cryptocurrencies.
Lol a "diversified investment strategy", like J.P Morgan manipulating the gold and sliver markets?

It's the Dot-Com era all over again, some will live and some will die

You're not a fool because you don't understand crypto, you're a fool because you talk negatively about something you don't understand

Take the gamble and wait . n July there might be changes beside this won't ship in another two months. 2k is a little too much for 3080. And after July profit drop then it will take some time to pay off I. Card $2k.

Lol, there are positives and negatives to ALL investment options. If you think someone is a fool for pointing out the risks in an investment, then you probably should let others manage your (very substantial I'm sure) wealth. Please more name calling though because I just "don't get" cryptocurrencies and you obviously do 😅

Yea man going to leverage my new found wealth into real estate and grab rent from people who "don't get" crypto or homeownership for that matter.

Actually did you know soon they're going to tokenize real estate assets? That way you cut out all the lawyers, real estate agents and those ridiculous fees. Of course you didn't

Good point but my history with cryptos is much longer than yours most likely and also my advice is not the same as a skeptic. I am not a skeptic, far from it. I just hate to see people rush to do something then get angry and blame cryptos when they cannot understand basic cause and effect.
