Good for those who will lift for a week before relegating this to laundry duty. Serious lifters would be far better served by buying a good used bench.

It really isn't though. If you benched more than 135 (think 315+) you're going to get hurt on a bench like this. Finding a welded flat bench or quality incline bench on Craigslist is a better option 100% of the time.
But how does saying "don't use this product beyond it's intended purpose" mean it's a bad deal? You wouldn't go into a thread about a chrome book and tell people they should build their own gaming PC instead.

The guy above me would go into a thread about a hand saw and tell people they should buy a used chainsaw off CL instead.

To be honest I am in the boat for buying used one from CL for the longest time.
But, since last few months or almost a year now, all CL have junk and trashy items and they are selling in high price. Even if you find something in decent condition they are selling them in almost new price, so it's not relevant anymore to buy used one from CL.
In fact save yourself time and effort and buy decent new one.

Buying a cheap bench is like buying a cheap ladder... wobbly after a few uses, can be dangerous and if you use it with any sort of frequency, you will end up buying a more expensive one.

Even if you benched 315, You wouldn't be touching the max weight limits unless you also weighed 300 lbs. A way more common scenario would probably be a 250 lb person benching bodyweight and you're at 75% load. Unless you're 6'5+ and crazy jacked, the numbers that are going to be putting the bench as a safety risk probably dictate that you should be hitting a treadmill instead of throwing more plates on your bench- and if you ARE that jacked you shouldn't be looking at a 100$ adjustable or resistance bands in any capacity.

This bench is gonna be fine for 90-95% of lifters unless you're doing something like box squats, but again, at the weight you'd be sweating that you probably have enough lifting experience that you know this is inadequate. Or you're 400 lbs. Take your pick.

What are some examples of a quality bench?

315 on an $93 bench??? No one that lifts 315 is looking at this bench! Be serious!

If you think a $93 bench (including shipping) is actually going to support 660 pounds, the joke is on you. I spent several weeks during the pandemic researching a good bench. The conclusion I came to was that all these cheap benches on Amazon are not only made too cheap, but also very dangerous. I feel like I need to post in all of these deals to warn people. These benches are generally new products and the reviews get littered with it falling apart in some aspect a few months later.

You need to spend at least $250 to get a good bench. I don't care if you aren't a serious lifter - injuries can definitely happen the way these cheap Chinese products fall apart. Find one of Bells of Steel, REP Fitness, Rogue, etc. and you definitely won't regret spending the extra to avoid that chance at an ER trip.
