I think this is just a joke, but the real difference is the compression. Women's golf balls tend to be softer to accommodate for slower swing speeds. If you've got a slower swing speed, you can likely benefit from this, whether you're male or female. And if you're a female with a high swing speed, you probably would not benefit from this ball. Then again, you probably wouldn't even be looking for help picking out a ball. Hope this helps for anyone wondering whether they should get this.
