Really easy but if you don't know a single thing about electric connections, I'd just pay someone to do it.
Also, it looks like PG&E has an additional $50 rebate. So I'm getting the thermostat for FREE and receiving $50 back!

I just tried to create an account on the website, after filling in all account information and answering some questions, one of them asks if you also have Electricity with PG&E. I answered No, and then submit it says not qualified for this program.
