Our Casper felt fantastic when new. Was ok at 6 months. Terrible at 1 year, which was last month. No support and hard in the divots where we sleep. Nice in the middle though. Gave it away. Just bought an Avocado mattress. Hope that this mattress lasts longer.

Your "advice" doesn't apply to 99% of the population. You know, normal people who just want to buy furniture, not build their own. You make it sound like its easy but there is nothing easier than just buying a finished product that you can immediately use

I've had my Casper for about two and a half years and have zero complaints.

Personally I would avoid all of the beds in a box. Most of them go to hell about 1 year in. You can build your own mattress just buying parts from foam factory or latex mattress Warehouse. A 7-in foam base layer and 2 in of organic latex will cost you maybe 400 & some dollars. You can build your own quality latex bed for like a grand. All of these beds are just slap together pieces of the cheapest material that you get in a box. Just buy direct from the warehouses and build your own
Where can you can find the material? What's the warehouse names?

This is untrue. You can talk plenty of unbiased reviews on Consumer Reports and Sleep Like the Dead, and you'll discover that many brands rate high on comfort and durability over time. The bed in a box is not a different product than what can be purchased in a store, it's just a different business model. It was invented because a machinist invented a machine that could compress foam into a small package and sell directly. And then many companies followed suit because the brick and mortar model was way more expensive. Also, that "build your own" mattress method is also delivered in a box.

Does this come in a box like the other matters brands, will it fit in a SUV?
Yes. The box is very small. It would probably fit in a sedan as well.

One aspect to think about is this review of the Casper Essential was from its older 8.5" model. This model posted is their newer 11" model. So it's likely to have gotten better in some of those areas it didn't score as well.

Also I can confirm it will fit in a sedan as it fit in my Kia Forte's back seat.

I've never heard of anyone that built their own bed...that's just weird.
Anyways I think this is perfect for our guest room since it'll barely. R used.
Total is coming up to $410 for pickup, hopefully that price drops when I pick it up

Your local club must have it in stock and if they do, you will be given an option to checkout via "Pick up in club" (screenshot attached [imgur.com]). You must also be a Sam's Club Member to be given the option for club pickup.

I've been buying mattresses in a box for years on Amazon. None of them have gone bad. I'm going on 3+ years with one.

Inner spring mattresses are going to start show up in buried time capsules lol, a relic of the past.

Yeah I have a Bear mattress since Dec 2017 and I love that thing. Not sure why or how it coming in a box makes it go bad... i mean it's foam... that makes no sense to me. My own individual foam mattress definitely has not gone bad that's for sure.

Spa sensation mattresses are 1/2 this price and lasts longer. We've had our king for 5 years and it's still very good. Our guest king was a Casper, 8mons was sagging - it's fine now as a rarely used guest room mattress, but it was expensive lesson nonetheless
