Long time, first time. Been keeping my eye on these speakers for awhile after the JBL outdoor speaker last month. Usually these are going for $189.99 but they're $50 off for $139.99.
Costco membership required but this is a good deal for great outdoor speakers if you're in the market for some.

While these are labeled as white speakers, they look more like white speakers that have been faded by the sun and have that yellowish tinge to them. They are definitely not white looking. You can check it out in the stores and when you look at the display model you'll think oh maybe this is just from sitting out in the light or sun or something like that.. But rest assured if you open up the box you'll see that same exact color.
I really don't know why they did this other than if they figured that people might return it because it was white at one point and then became this color?
Why is this an issue vs how they sound? Many of you might decide to mount this either on your house or on a white fence and the color will look odd. Maybe some of you don't care about that but certainly if you're dealing with setups of this type, you typically care a little bit about how your home looks.

Congrats! Glad to help
Go back and reread the thread for amp suggestions
I got this and have no complaints. https://slickdeals.net/f/14978093-lavaudio-mini-bluetooth-audio-amplifier-receiver-2-1-channel-hi-fi-stereo-amplifier-home-audio-100wx2-54-50-fs
Although these speakers sound great, I'm a bit disappointed in the tweeter dispersion when installed horizontally (on their "side"). When upright, the tweeter's horn/waveguide disperses the high frequencies widely left/right, which is good for covering a listening area. Unfortunately, when they are installed on their side (like most would do on siding), the treble dispersion is up/down, only covering a narrow width directly in front of the speaker. There is a noticeable reduction in high frequencies when moving just off to the side of either speaker, and likewise a big increase in treble when directly in front of one. Definitely no sweet spot for stereo sound since it is impossible to get a center image mix from each speaker on those higher frequencies.
These sound great, but much better when vertical, so beware of their limitations. You'll notice other Klipsch outdoor speakers feature a tweeter waveguide that allows the treble sounds to disperse in all directions equally, not just side to side (or up and down, depending on the speaker's orientation).
I'm going to try to paint it. Anyone know how to pop off the grills without damaging them? Nevermind, it just slides off at the grill sides not the line surrounding the entire speaker.

In fact, on the costco site I only see what I assume are manufacturer photos showing mounting examples. Literally in both cases the speakers are horizontal. Crazy to me that there would be a design flaw for mounting them that way--so if that is the case, I might pass. Seems like a great deal otherwise. Thanks again!
