I have a flashlight addiction, thinking about getting these even though I have other unopened flashlights. None like these though.

I've got a couple 4AA Polysteel Coast's that are actually pretty decent lights. I use them for night tracking during deer season and they've done a fine job. Coast's focusing system is fantastic on both their handhelds and FL series of headlamps.

I have heard these are solid compact flashlights. I will prob buy and worst case return if I feel like adding those to my pile of flashlights is overkill...

I'm pretty sure you're thread crapping about something you've never touched. I personally use these at home and work, and they look and feel sturdy and will light up a room when set to wide beam.

To all the flashlight experts, what is the best value when looking to purchase for use on a ranch? Harbor Freight flashlights never last. The wider and brighter the spotlight i can get the better. iI don't want to spend a ton of money though. The only battery system I currently have is Ryobi but I'm not sure if the light they sell is worth it. Need something under $100 preferably. Waterproof and durable against falls too. Kinda torn between buying cheap Chinese junk I see deals on vs big-name products.

For small lights like this, I like lights that run off 18650s. Sounds like you're looking for more of a floodlight though that will light for a while. Might want to go with whatever battery ecosystem you're in.

Same here. I grabbed these and will think about it during the return period. I might find a use for these since most of my flashlights are bigger than these so can keep these in different locations where the others don't really go. I don't think I have any that are as 'crush proof' as this one either.
