No, there are a different type of connectors that are required to actually meet the true cat7 spec. Additionally, cat7 isn't an official standard adopted by TIA. Using cat7 without the special connectors will not make this cable any better than cat6. Additionally, using flat cables makes them more susceptible to picking up noise. This cable is nothing more than a marketing tactic. You'd be better getting a shielded cat6A with 23awg conductors than this thing. Otherwise, you need to skip to cat8. ALSO, unless your devices, on both sides, have NICs that can transfer faster than 1000mbps, than a cable rated faster than that won't do anything for you.

Are the flat ones good for wiring my house (inside walls) for networking. I thought I read somewhere to not use the flat ones. Anyone know?
