Yep... my Grandma uses a 16oz.... but she is old.

Besides the brand, this size is great for finish nailers that need to set a few that did not sink. I know one older finisher that carries a 12oz that has to be older than I am for 'touch ups.'

If you like that curved claw... the straight claw of the OP allows you to get into tighter places for prying and removal; especially if using a block as a fulcrum to not damage surrounding area.
