If buying 2 you should be able to select Prime day shipping for $1 digital credit. If the credit doesn't show as available, try pushing your Prime day delivery date out a few days. if its too close, they wont give the option for a digital credit. for every other item you add to the order it adds another $0.50 credit.

In my experience the one with USB works better and for desktops without bluetooth is the only option. I hae many logitech mice and would prefer that since the USB receiver is not compatible across brands

Wireless & runs in one tiny AAA battery, which will die soon. Not worth the hassle. 99cents only stores sell one with one AA battery for less.

The issue is more that my kid is prone to dropping the mouse and it usually breaks after a while. While I agree that a more expensive mouse may survive a drop better, I'd rather not chance it and happy to get a cheap one because they are still all plastic no matter the price point.
