I bought an expensive breville toaster that has airfry capabilities but pales in comparison from a time perspective to these smaller enclosed units (or at least the generic insignia one I had before)

I have a Breville and a 1500+ watt enclosed air fryer will do a much better job than a toaster unit. I haven't thrown the breville out since it is awesome for other uses (pizza, larger items etc) but for air frying I would recommend a dedicated unit.
As for the OP, I have no experience but 2qt is tiny. 6 is the smallest with 8-10 for a family.

What's a decent size to look for?
Depending on family size, for 3-4 people I'd get a 6 quart
For $20 I cant recommend it more.
