I have been waiting on a 6TB Red Pro sale for over a year, but ever since these "Plus" versions have been introduced, the Pro's haven't gone on sale. Whereas these Plus drives are on sale every other week.

still a good NAS box drive, smithc1080. And at 7200rpm definitely not a slowpoke type either.

Unfortunately on the 6TB the Plus is only 5400 and it's a 3 yr warranty compared to the Pro's 5-year warranty and the Pro's have a larger cache and workload.
