It's good and strong. My wife always asks me if something is burning in the house when I brew a cup of it. SF Bay gives the people what they want. Order the flavor that speaks to you.
I've had them on reorder from Amazon for years now.
Interesting. Most people who enjoy dark/french roasts really like SF's Fog Chaser blend. Amazon's Solimo Dark also gets a lot of love.
The French Roast is quite strong - like a French Roast should be. I've been purchasing the Morning Blend which is a medium roast. I've used almost 200 Morning Blend k cups and zero issues it being in a compostable pod.

This coffee is............. simply put, very bitter.
Which blend/roast are you referring to? Most people who have tried it have probably tried the French Roast because it's widely available at Costco. While strong, as a dark roast french roast should be I wouldn't say it's bitter but it is on the strong side for me.
They make quite a few roasts which are not as robust. What I like about these capsules is that they are a different style and have a mesh filter outer container which seems to produce a fresher tasting cup with more oil like you would get from freshly ground coffee.
Also a slightly greener package form but not easily recycled in many places.
I bought the Fog Chaser version of this a couple of months ago and it super weak. It's only tolerable at the 1/3 cup level with a Keurig. Happy Belly is much stronger and that's not saying a lot. Not sure about the other blends though? Good luck!

Quick question, but not directly related to the post. Those that use Keurig machines, do you buy the official Keurig water filters or have you found a reputable generic brand that does the same thing? I've been using mine for two months, about 4 cups a day between two people and its probably time to change. Just wanted to know if I have to go the official Keurig filter route, or not.
French roast is good and most widely available, but the organic rainforest blend is probably my favorite. French roast is my second favorite. I don't like fog chaser much at all.

Generic, amazon has them, it's a basic charcoal filter so you can save a lot.
