Got these with the lightning cable a couple years ago for about this price. These are great headphones if you're looking to seriously listen.

Are these any good compared to Sennheiser HD 600 or other audiophile headphones? I have Philips Fidelio x2hr and looking for an upgrade.

These are IEM's so not sure if you can compare them directly to your Philips or the HD 600's. I've only heard the HD 600's at a friends who used them for gaming and didn't have a proper AMP for them and they sounded very thin. These could benefit from an AMP if you don't get the lightning cable, but it's not required, were as for the HD 600's you're going to need one.

I do have an Emotiva-TA100 DAC/Amp already. I want to try IEMs if the sound can be compared to Audiophile headphones. I do have AirPods pro Galabuds+ other side, expecting these IEMs sounds better to so called earbuds.

These sound spectacular, but since they do not come with the Cipher cable, you will need an alternative amp if you want to go portable with them (or the BT module Audeze sells).

They work wonders with a DAC/AMP at home though. Threat them like you would a wired fulls-size can when it comes to powering them.

I forgot to mention that I do have Monolith Hi-Res DAC Headphone Amp to go portable. I will give it a shot. Thanks a lot bud.

I recently purchased a Sony Walkman NW-ZX507. I'm still new to this world. Would I need any additional Amp to use these with that Walkman? Thanks in advance for any advice

Without the lightning cipher cable, these iems are a complete waste of money. I purchased them... worst purchase I made in a long time.

Hundreds of posts talking about the pros and cons.

Ask all your questions there

...

Basically, you may be the ideal buyer for these or not because they're not the sort of mass consumer earphones with tuning that'll make modern music sound amazing for everyone.

Ie. Yes, even that $20 Jlab Jbuds Pro in-ear can sound dynamically more exciting.

And you'll certainly want to compare vs Grado open ears as well as a typical modern music tuned over the ear like the jbl e55bt around the same price range.

...

And, are they $$$ AMAZING $$$?
HECK, NO!
That would be reserved for their top end planars like their LCD-X hooked up to a proper amp like a $5000 Cavalli tube amp and dac.

I mean, that's pretty gatekeepy. These will blow away most IEMs that consumers have ever heard of.

For the average person who's looking to upgrade into audiophile sound, this is a great deal and these are pretty fantastic in the sub-$500 price bracket.

Planars are usually hard to drive and the Sony players don't have a lot of power but you can listen and see if they sound good to you.

In the $100 range, not bad if you can properly drive them. A good buy for those that like the sound profile.

At $500~?
Oh God, tons of choices.
