Make sure the shoe is a keeper, 'coz you don't want to deal with shoes.com customer service.

Their customer service leaves a lot to be desired. poor communication, no followup or replies in case you have a question or problem with your order. No phone service, only email right now... and they don't really get back to you soon.

I ordered a pair of these a month ago and still say in transit. Shoes.com just had some generic reply and ignored what I said in the email.

Was able to use the same code for 2 pairs of GEL-Venture 7's, $38.54 each after tax. Put a lot of miles on the Venture 6, looking forward to trying the 7's.

I bought the Venture 7 from an Olympia Sports SD deal last May for about $29. Just for daily knocking around, I like them. Have read that the toe box is slightly narrower than the 6 but I can't personally compare. Laces are junk, though. I replaced right away.
