Squadrons gameplay is actually very solid. I had fun playing the game. The campaign story is pretty trash and predictable. Despite that, I had a very good time playing Squadrons. Way more fun than I originally expected. I do wish there were more scenario levels for the game but I guess you can get that somewhat with MP vs AI.
If they spent as much time on mission variety as they did on character detail, it would be an AAA game. As it is, you really have to like punching robots in generic forests, then punching robots in an underground lab. Too bad as it's clear the Marvel love is there, but the gameplay non-variety and grind is pretty terrible. Also - first two DLCs and we get two archers - cool cool cool.
In related news - Control at $8.99 is an absolute steal. It's one of the most unique games I've played. Somehow it still feels like it slipped under the radar, but it's a great experience.
Gamefly used game sales are good. They keep the cases and inserts (dlc codes, maybe/maybe not) so they are complete. If you have a problem with a game they will refund, I don't think they offer replacements anymore.
I didn't see anything here that interested me except for maybe Millionaire... wifey likes trivia. But I read reviews on it and they say it's meh at best. Apparently it was released in French and this version was translated to English... poorly. So a lot of the questions don't make sense (saw these reviews on metacritic). And high repetition. So pass.
If you've been on the fence this long for Squadrons, this is cheap enough. But be warned... it's pretty mediocre (but beautiful to look at). The SP campaign is short and not great, and multiplayer (for me anyway) is a pointless affair where you constantly get killed by enemies you can't even get a lock on. Perhaps it is a matter of practice.... but if you play the SP campaign and jump into MP, you're going to get killed all day long. I loved X-Wing back in the day, and this is not it. If you have PSVR, go for it, I have read the VR experience is better.

Is that different from other multiplayer games? There's always a learning curve. IMO the Squadrons learning curve isn't that bad compared to a lot of FPS, especially if you join a Discord or watch some videos (Fencar's YouTube channel has great instructional stuff). The difference with FPSs is that time to kill (ttk) is so low that even absolute beginners sometimes get a headshot on good players, while a brand-new Squadrons player getting a kill on a top-tier player in a TIE Defender is unlikely.
For me this is the perfect successor for the X-Wing games, except I wish they'd gone with the as-a-service model and had paid cosmetics (to keep developer attention on the game long-term).

Okay thanks. I guess I can wait for the Avengers Assembled Complete Edition .

I mean, get Game Pass and just play the games on there - you'll never catch up with a backlog then.
Pretty decent deals on some of the more unique, and not so commonly found titles.
