I wouldn't buy a rock from Newegg, let alone their refurbished items. Look back at the LG vacuum they were selling. People received used, beat up, smelly, defective items missing parts. Newegg doesn't care. Good luck returning it, getting a refund, or even tolerable customer service.

Been a Newegg customer for over 25 years and never had a problem with them. Returning or otherwise. They have great selection of components for building computers and decent prices. Probably have spent over $30k lifetime.

Prices used to be a lot better than now but every now and then, there is a great deal to be had.

Gonna' have to agree with the comment. Never had an issue with Newegg. I purchased two refurbs (a dyson hand vacuum and ryobi leaf blower with battery). 4 years in and they're still working great!

Also, looks like it is Dyson that is selling it and backing it with its support and service. (Newegg is just the platform). I believe (could be mistaken), that the item will be shipped directly from Dyson and can be returned to them.

Do you know if you need to fill in water more than once a day? I have a humidifier and thinking of getting this as the second one for office. The main one is also a pain to fill in every two days. You have to carry the tank (which is inverted) to the sink, fill it and put it back on. If this can be filled in-place once a day, it might be simpler.

I guess that would be the pain factor for all humidifiers (just differing in how frequently), unless there is a "whole home" model that can be hooked to the water supply Smilie

Depends entirely on what settings you're using, what your desired humidity level is, etc. I keep my ~1500 sq. Ft. house at about 45-50% humidity in the winter (with a vornado humidifier working upstairs) and I end up refilling this about once per day with distilled water.

The container is awkward, but stands up straight on a flat surface when it's inverted. It has to be removed to be filled.
