The 7600X3D is a Microcenter exclusive CPU, so that's not possible. I think this system is a fantastic CPU / GPU combo.

Wouldn't the CPU be overkill for this GPU? Better to go for something like a 7600X3D and save a good bunch

Neither. The 9070XT GPU is overrated because while it's decently competitive on rasterization, the future of gaming is path tracing (ray tracing but more so). This card does significantly worse on path tracing. https://www.tweaktown.com/reviews...ance-1440p
Completely disagree for this price point. This is great package.

Yes and no. I think that some Alienware I bought for my roomie's kid's birthday came with a separate box you had to connect to use wifi. I guess internal wifi cards is something manufacturer's still omit sometimes?

Oof it hit front page. Guess people forgot, or just don't care about buying from a company that was caught defrauding customers.

Can you elaborate? I bought one from best buy a month ago.

Edit: Unbelievable how people downvoted me for telling the truth. In 2 years new consoles come out and RT/PT will dominate and anyone on a 9070XT will be at a 4070 Super or 5070 level. If you absolutely need a gaming rig now, you could do worse. But the long-term performance of this GPU isn't as good as it first appears.

People at least used to value good info. Now people just wanna hear what they wanna hear. I'm so done with posting on this site.

did you tell people the truth back then when VRAM is a real issue and affects more games than what path tracing would have done back then? its not like this gpu is completely binary when it comes to RT or not. If you're going to bring up consoles in 2 years, you DO realize the RT performance is going to follow what Sony/AMD is going to push out via Project Amethyst and not what Nvidia will push out in that context right?

Ray tracing is not the future of gaming lol. Its been out long enough now and still has pretty bad performance drops when turned on, which while it looks nice and pretty, isn't worth the trade off that most people want. People would rather have stable high frame rates over ray tracing, even in RPGs and adventure games
