I totally agree! "The Righteous Mind: Why Good People Are Divided by Politics and Religion" has become one of my all time favorite books that I recommend and share all the time. It's not just about politics and religion either.

Disagree absolutely. The most overrated book ever. Gave this a one star review. Nothing but a smokescreen for conservative ideology. No fairness or balance here. Look at Haidt's newer book (The Coddling of The American Mind).and his statements and interviews since Righteous Mind (use Google).. He's nothing but a mouthpiece for the right masquerading as a unifying voice, essentially making him a fraud.

Note that after the Charlottesville violence in 2017, Haidt commented that Trump should have taken a stronger stance against the neo-Nazi participants, but not because Nazism is inherently bad, but because people think it is and that this would lessen support for Trump.
