Bankruptcy and out of business are two different things. The quality of their shirts and suits is second to none. BB, CT and TML are the only three brands you'll need. At this price point it's a no brainer.

They're definitely not the slim fit that's currently in with the younger crew, but if you're, eh, of a substantial size - these are as good as they get.

Bankruptcy and restructuring doesn't mean closing doors forever.

The Milano and Soho fits are slim and extra slim.

I think you meant to say their quality was second to none. We'll see going forward now that they are owned by a mall landlord.

You might wanna look again at the dress shirt cuts that are available...they offer four different fits that range from extra slim to extra fat. Their "Classic" cut is what you're describing, but the "Soho" is the ultra tight, extra slim cut.

That being said, the styles are dated and the quality of material and construction have dropped way off in the last few years. These used to be the gold standard in dress shirts, but now the quality is comparable to what you'd find at Target.

My guess is that they tried to cut costs in attempt to expand their market and increase profit while leveraging their brand recognition. That works for exactly one business cycle until consumers see the new product is garbage that isn't worth the price.

Such a shame that they took an established successful business and ran it into the ground with their greed. There is no bouncing back from this either. Even if you bring back the quality, customers will never trust you enough to pay up to test it. And your reorganization bankruptcy tells us you don't have the financial strength to fix your product and rebuild your reputation by either under pricing your product to lure customers to try you again or by advertising your way out of this hole.

Hmm. Large -> Milano -> Sport Shirts. Yikes, 3 choices that would get you laughed out of the office.

I'll stick w/ CT for now.
